Pop Smoke Killed in Home Invasion

Shocking the rap industry once again is the news that another rising talent has been shot and killed in a home robbery on the morning of February 19th in Los Angeles.

Budding 20-year-old rapper Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Barakah Jackson, was reportedly staying in a home on the Hollywood Hills when two robbers broke in at around 4 in the morning. Gunshots were fired, and some shots fatally struck the rapper. The robbers fled the scene of the crime on foot.

Pop Smoke was rushed to Cedar Sinai Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. As of now, the police are still looking for the two suspects, who still remains unknown.

Pop Smoke has recently come out with his new mixtape and has worked with the likes of Travis Scott and Quavo during his short yet remarkable career. Rest in Peace, Pop Smoke.

Drake Shows Off His Latest Wrist Game

Seemingly not satisfied with his already huge collection of blinged-out timepieces and hip-hop jewellery, Drake flexed his newest buy, the Astronomia Casino watch by Manhattan jewellers, Jacob & Co. The high-end watch’s dial can apparently be swapped for a functioning roulette table, all for a whopping $620k! Talk about an awesome piece of watch to flex, eh?

The Astronomia Casino features a “double-axis tourbillon, a magnesium lacquered globe and time display, all rotating around the dial in 10 minutes, while underneath is a working roulette table with ceramic ball, while on top is a 1ct 288 Jacob-cut diamond, which turns on itself in 30 seconds,” as per the jeweller’s Instagram page.

Oh Drake, you should know that we’re living the hip-hop jewellery life vicariously through you! We can’t wait for your next purchase!
